Below are the following files from IMO:
- IMO Circular 4237: Communications from the Governments of: i. The Republic of the Philippines; ii The Russian Federation; and iii The Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka
- We have extracted the communication from the Philippine’s MARINA regarding the extension of validity of STCW certificates of Filipino seafarers currently onboard seagoing ships and challenges caused by COVID-19. MARINA has decided to declare automatic extension of the validity of STCW certificates it had issued to Filipino seafarers, which are due to revalidation and have expired or about to expire during the period 13 March 2020 to 13 April 2020, for two (2) months from the date of expiry of the certificate concerned.
- IMO STCW.2/Circ.90: Communication received from the Government of the Philippines
- The Secretary-General has the honour to transmit herewith a communication received from the Government of the Philippines, as set out in the attached file, providing information on the new signatory for all STCW certificates and Seafarers' Record Books (SRB) issued by the Maritime Industry Authority (MARINA) on behalf of the Republic of the Philippines.
